Commercial
Creative Curtains & Blinds has been working on commercial projects — from single-room refurbishments to complete multi-floor fit-outs — since 2002. We understand the requirements of the commercial environment: the specification language, the compliance standards, the programme pressures and the importance of getting it right first time, every time. We work directly with architects, interior designers, FF&E companies, main contractors and end-user clients across the hospitality, education, healthcare and commercial office sectors — covering Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London.
Care Homes & Healthcare
The soft furnishing specification for a care home or NHS facility is about far more than aesthetics. It is about creating an environment that actively supports the wellbeing of residents and patients — through considered use of colour, light control, acoustic dampening and thermal comfort — whilst meeting the rigorous compliance standards that healthcare procurement demands.
We supply and install curtains, blinds and window treatments that are tested and certified to the relevant healthcare standards: flame retardancy to CRIB 5 and BS5867 2B, anti-microbial fabric treatments, wipe-clean and washable constructions, and specialist blackout and dimout solutions for bedrooms and clinical areas where precise light control is required. Our quality base cloths maintain their compliance rating through repeated laundering cycles.
For care home and assisted living developments, we also supply external shading solutions — covered outdoor spaces, retractable awnings and motorised ZIP screens — that allow residents access to fresh air and outdoor environment whatever the weather, a feature that increasingly forms part of the design brief for new-build and refurbishment projects. We cover all areas of the South East from Hampshire, London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
Schools & Education
Educational environments present specific and demanding window treatment requirements. Blackout performance for projection, solar shading for south and west-facing classrooms, acoustic management for echo-heavy learning spaces, durability for high-traffic corridors and common areas — and all of it has to comply with BB101 guidance and BS5867 FR standards.
We understand the education specification process, and we have the product range to match: blackout and dimout roller blinds in FR-rated fabrics, motorised blind systems for high-level or hard-to-reach windows, external brise soleil and solar shading for new-build and refurbishment facades, acoustic curtaining for halls and performance spaces, and upholstery fabrics for seating that combine durability with design.
We also understand how schools work operationally: programme-sensitive, budget-conscious and best served by a contractor who can install quickly, cleanly and to time — particularly for summer holiday installation windows. Our own installation team works to a professional site-safe standard and can coordinate with main contractors on larger projects. We cover all areas of the South East from Hampshire, London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
Hotels & Hospitality
In hotel design, the window treatment is part of the guest experience. A well-specified curtain — the right weight of fabric, the right heading, the right fullness, the right track system — contributes to how a room feels at every time of day and night. We work with hotel designers, FF&E consultants and property owners to specify and install window treatments that meet both the creative vision and the operational realities of hotel management.
Our hotel specification offer includes motorised curtain and blind systems for effortless daily operation, blackout linings that achieve genuine certified blackout performance, FR-rated contract fabrics across the full range of curtain and blind types, acoustic curtaining for conference and event spaces, and external shading solutions — awnings, ZIP screens and pergolas — for restaurant terraces and outdoor dining areas. We can also brand soft furnishings with woven logos and custom embroidery.
For full hotel refurbishments and new-build fit-outs, we provide a complete measured survey, design consultation, sample service and full installation managed by our own team. We cover all areas of the South East from Hampshire, London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
FF&E & Office Fit-Out
We are an experienced supply-and-install partner for FF&E programmes, working alongside interior designers, project managers and main contractors on office fit-outs, hotel refurbishments, serviced apartments and mixed-use developments across the South East and London.
Our contribution to an FF&E programme typically covers all window treatments — curtains, blinds, shutters and external shading — specified to the designer’s brief, supplied in our own fabrication facility, and installed by our own directly-employed team to a commercial site standard. We provide full measured surveys at tender stage, detailed specification documents, fabric and sample sign-off service, and on-site installation programmes coordinated around the wider fit-out schedule.
For Cat A office fit-outs, we specialise in motorised roller and Venetian blind systems with solar screen fabrics that meet BREEAM credit criteria for daylighting and thermal comfort. For Cat B fit-outs and tenant improvements, we can work to any design brief — from full acoustic curtain walls to frameless glass manifestation. We are an established business with our own fabrication and installation capability, and we can help you from first fix through to handover, however large or small the project. We cover all areas of the South East from Hampshire, London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
