Woven in Britain, MicroLouvre® is the world’s thinnest and lightest louvre systems.
A huge range of exceptional performance properties in just one system. It features elegant 700 finely weaved bronze micro-louvres into every metre of its metal fabric – perfect for solar shading.
At just 1.55mm thick, this product is thinner than a grain of rice (about 5 times lighter), while each louver measures at 1.25×0.30mm with an 80% open area. This product weighs roughly just over a kilo per square meter.
How MicroLouvre® System Works
Technicians weave metal wire and louvres to create a high-performance metal fabric.
The louvres are micro fine, and angled at a level to ensure optimum light in, and visibility out, whilst blocking heat, glare and even external viewing in. It’s known as angular selective technology.
Multiple Performance Benefits
MicroLouvre®‘s multiple performance benefits operate simultaneously and in combination, making it the best shade, light and glare solution for a multitude of sectors from sun control to lighting.
The metal fabric micro louvres can be angled between 0° – 16° but for vertical solar shading uses, the fabric is woven at an optimum 17°. A low sun angle fabric is also available.
